Maria Pedro

Maria Pedro is a third-year student at NOVA School of Law and a research assistant at the DDL Centre. Along with an interest in Family and Criminal Law – with a focus on the study of femicide and other crimes related to discrimination based on gender –, she is also intrigued by the relationship between Law and Technology, especially in terms of AI systems and their consequences on legal circles. Outside of this, she is also passionate about History and Political Science.
