The NOVA Knowledge Centre for Data-Driven Law promotes the use of data in legal research within the NOVA School of Law.
In doing so, the Centre contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal number 16, dedicated to Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (SDG16), by assisting in its goal of developing effective, accountable and transparent institutions at all levels.
It is guided by NOVA School of Law’s vocation to expand legal science in Portugal, with a special mission to stimulate data-based legal and multidisciplinary research – a field left practically untouched at the national level.
